Tornado warnings issued across southeast Michigan

The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings across southeast Michigan, including Inkster, Monroe, Dearborn, Taylor, and Dearborn Heights. Radar showed rotation near Inkster, and storms were moving northeast at about 45 mph. Warnings were active April 4 from 5:55 PM to 6:15 PM EDT and covered parts of Detroit and its suburbs. Residents should take immediate shelter in interior, windowless rooms; the fast moving rotation threatens populated neighborhoods.
