Witch Hat Atelier's anime premiered today with its first episode, launching the adaptation of Kamome Shirahama's manga. Artists and makers are marking the debut with Brushbuddy plush commissions, celebratory fanart and short animatics, and handmade Coco cosplay. Creators singled out the episode's final sequence and the premiere's visuals, then reinterpreted scenes across chibi comics, painted key art, and short fan stories. A two-disc original soundtrack by Yuka Kitamura is scheduled for release on June 17, 2026.

Fuck Harry Potter and the moldspawn that wrote it. Witch Hat is the REAL shit. Its SO FUCKING GOOD. The manga made me cry tears of JOY. I could feel it filling up my soul with inspiration and wonder and Quifrey is so fucking cute and supportive Look I said I wasn't gonna be normal about this.

this season of anime is cracked i kind of feel like we're in a golden age? witch hat and daemons of the shadow realm are both shaping up to be nuts adaptations of series i love, while nippon sangoku is maybe the freshest production ive seen in a long time stylistically.
