The Chicago Sky acquired forward Rickea Jackson from the Los Angeles Sparks and sent guard Ariel Atkins to Los Angeles to complete the deal. Jackson was the No. 4 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft and will join a Sky frontcourt that includes Azurá Stevens, Kamilla Cardoso, Elizabeth Williams and second-year forward Maddy Westbeld. The Sky cleared salary-cap space by moving Atkins and added Jackson while she remains on a rookie contract, giving Chicago a more scoring-oriented frontcourt option. This is the Sky's second major trade of the offseason as the team continues to reshape its roster ahead of free agency and the draft.
