Spaceballs: The New One first look debuts at CinemaCon

CinemaCon screened a first look at Spaceballs: The New One and revealed a Mel Brooks cameo. Keke Palmer and Mel Brooks appeared via prerecorded video that interrupted Rick Moranis whenever he tried to speak. The preview parodied Rey and included sight gags such as people in Harry Potter robes and a Na'vi character at a urinal. The studio set the theatrical release date for April 23, 2027.
