British Jews tell BBC they face rising antisemitism, including threats and kidnappings

BBC Panorama, presented by Judith Moritz, broadcast interviews in which British Jews described being spat at, threatened and even kidnapped. Interviewees recounted street harassment, antisemitic threats and specific abduction incidents, with one saying, "There's no future for US in this country." The Community Security Trust recorded an average of ten antisemitic acts per day in 2025. Those figures have intensified calls for better protection and prompted some British Jews to consider emigration or applying for asylum, including a caller WHO said he was weighing Donald Trump's offer of asylum.
