Netflix and Legendary Pictures have begun filming a live-action Gundam movie on the Gold Coast, Australia. The production adapts the Japanese Gundam mecha franchise into a Hollywood-scale live-action sci-fi film, and the studios announced the full cast as cameras rolled. With filming underway, Netflix and Legendary are moving the project into postproduction and distribution planning toward release.
