newsApr 21, 2026919

Amnesty International published its annual State of the World's Human Rights report and named Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu, Russia's Vladimir Putin and US leader Donald Trump as 'voracious predators' driving a predatory, anti-rights world order. The report reviewed more than 140 countries and said Georgia has "plunged head-on into authoritarian practices" with systemic crackdowns on dissent. Amnesty's Europe director Eve Geddie said it is "time" for the European Union to end its partnership with Israel, a call that could prompt immediate diplomatic pressure on EU policy toward Israel.
