The EDSBS Charity Bowl raised more than $1 million for New American Pathways in under three days, delivering a major boost to the refugee-resettlement nonprofit. Donations arrived as pledged gifts tied to schools and rivalry-themed teams, including individual gifts such as a $128 donation celebrating James Franklin's career wins. New American Pathways noted themed entries like the Protect Trans Kids University Fighting Blue Sharks led the 2026 leaderboard, and the money will fund services from refugee arrival through citizenship.
