Vikings draft Florida DT Caleb Banks at No. 18

The Minnesota Vikings selected Florida defensive tackle Caleb Banks with the 18th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Banks, a Detroit native WHO attended Southfield A&T High School and played at Florida, brings uncommon length and fluidity for an interior lineman but has missed time with multiple foot injuries and must tighten his pad level. Coach Kevin O'Connell said Banks will work alongside Jalen Redmond and other young tackles at the TCO Performance Center, and Minnesota, thin at defensive tackle and without a first-round DT since Sharrif Floyd in 2013, hopes Banks can be a high-upside difference-maker if he stays healthy.
