At FanFest, Final Fantasy XIV confirmed an official Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover as the next alliance-raid series. The alliance raid format in FFXIV is a 24-player, three-party encounter used for large-scale scripted battles and events. The collaboration brings Evangelion designs and themes into the game as a licensed crossover, delivering themed bosses, music, and cosmetics that give players a major new reason to log in and experience the raid together.
