BREAKING: The Scottish Greens have gained Nicola Sturgeon's seat in Glasgow Southside which the former first minister held for 15 years. Holly Bruce won the seat with 14,048.

The Edinburgh Central constituency has gone to the Greens by an incredible margin. Over 12,000 votes compared to SNP on 7702 in third place. That's a historic first for the Scottish Greens and the Scottish Parliament.

I've met Lorna Slater at an event that we were both speaking at, and I've met Angus Robertson many times when I was an SNP member of their Edi Central branch. Lorna is principled, effective, humble, well-spoken and honest. Angus is, certainly, a politician. Ecstatic for Edinburgh Central!

And so the Scottish Greens win their first ever constituency seat. And the SNP come *third*!

Scottish Greens’ Holy Bruce has also just won Glasgow Southside - stunning victory.

Turns out to have been a more interesting election than expected in Scotland. I don't think Labour taking Na h-Eileanan an Iar from the SNP or the SNP taking Shetland from the Lib Dems were on many folk's predictions, and the Scottish Greens taking Edinburgh Central so convincingly is remarkable.
