Jackson Blake scored twice, including an overtime winner, as the Carolina Hurricanes beat the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 in Game 4 to complete a 4-0 series sweep and advance to the Eastern Conference Final. The sweep leaves Carolina 8-0 to start the 2026 playoffs, the first team to open a postseason that strong since the 1985 Edmonton Oilers, and is the Hurricanes' third conference-final appearance in four years. As the East's No. 1 seed, Carolina will have home-ICE advantage in the best-of-seven conference final against either the Buffalo Sabres or the Montreal Canadiens, reinforcing the Hurricanes as one of the Stanley Cup contenders.
