Buffalo Sabres beat Canadiens 8-3, force Game 7

The Buffalo Sabres rallied from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Montreal Canadiens 8-3 in Game 6 at the Bell Centre, scoring five unanswered goals to force a winner-take-all Game 7. Buffalo erupted with four unanswered goals in the second period to turn the game around and carry a 5-3 lead through 40 minutes. Starter Alex Lyon stopped one of four shots and was replaced by Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, WHO made 17 saves to finish the victory. The series is now tied 3-3 and Game 7 will decide WHO advances when the teams meet Monday May 18 at KeyBank Center in Buffalo.
