The whole Stolitz talk made me realize that, Helluva Boss actually AGREED with the "haters" that the relationship was problematic from the start. It's just that the show also decided it *wasn't* beyond redemption. It just had toxic foundations that needed to be confronted and torn down.

That's when I realized that they're actually taking the characters' feelings seriously.
