Vought Rising first trailer, Prime Video prequel set for 2027

I love Jensen and Season 3 Soldier Boy but I shan't be watching. Can't torch a mainline show to push for a spinoff prequel and expect us to stay invested.

I'm a bit baffled on why they would do a prequel now of all times. They shouldn't have crammed so much into the final season of The Boys to hype the prequel to begin with. Utterly baffling and killed the momentum of the final season.

Im looking at that Vought Rising trailer and wondering what the sell is. We know the backstory is just project paperclip with compound v. Best case you set yourself up for watchman comparisons you can stand up to. Maybe they saw more use out of the Fallout flashback props to pump something cheap?
