Doctor Who Magazine anniversaries and issue posts

Doctor Who Magazine marked multiple anniversaries by sharing vintage covers and back-issue notes, including the 2008 BBC One premiere of "Silence in the Library," which aired at 7pm and drew 6.27 million viewers. The magazine also highlighted that "Forest of the Dead" aired a week later at 7pm with 7.84 million viewers and that Panini Books published The Tides of Time in 2005 as the only Fifth Doctor comic collection. Contributors noted archival publishing details as well, pointing out that the 1984 novelisation of "The Aztecs" was written by John Lucarotti from his 1964 screenplay and that the 2012 audio edition uses Nick Spender cover art read by William Russell while the latest reissue uses the current series logo. These anniversary posts help collectors and new viewers locate rare comics, novelisations and reissues and trace how Doctor Who has been repackaged across decades.
