Tell Russ Vought to fuck himself: www.regulations.gov/document/OMB... Science and research funding should not be contingent on the whims of OMB or the Executive branch's political opinions. This proposal is a blatant contrivance to hinder research into important subjects, and should be abandoned.

It is particularly ironic, sad, and enraging that Russell Vought's daughter has CF. Without decades of the curiosity-driven NIH funding that he and his fellow travelers are trying to annihilate, it is unlikely that she would be alive.

More dangerous overreach, driven by the destructive malice aforethought of Project 2025 and its chief architect, Russell Vought, currently masquerading as head of the Office of Management and Budget. There is no better position within govt from which to strangle undesired projects & their funding.
