Summer Game Fest showcases Resident Evil Veronica and Final Fantasy VII: Revelation

At Summer Game Fest, Capcom premiered Resident Evil: Veronica, a full remake announced for 2027 that reimagines the Dreamcast-era Code: Veronica. Square Enix unveiled Final Fantasy VII: Revelation, presented as the finale of the remake trilogy and set to conclude the multi-part retelling of 1997's Final Fantasy VII. The show also revealed 1666 Amsterdam, a stealth-action title from an Assassin's Creed co-creator with a demo available now, and gave a first look at the Stellar Blade sequel Blood Rain.
