Thief: The Dark Project Remastered was announced by Nightdive Studios and Atari, arriving this winter on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 with a KEX Engine makeover and the original 1998 game plus its add-ons. Artists, modders, and longtime contributors are producing new key art, retrospective essays, preservation guides, and mod-focused how-tos tied to the remaster reveal. Much of the creative output zeroes in on Garrett, the Keepers, and the original campaign's standout missions, with public highlights including a commissioned remaster key illustration and expanded oral histories about the game's development.
