Xenoblade Genesis, new Xenoblade game for Switch 2

Xenoblade Genesis was revealed by Monolith Soft for Nintendo Switch 2 with a 2027 release window. Creations around the reveal span illustrations, short animatics, cosplay, comics, and cinematic edits. Much of the work spotlights elfgirl Utena, a mysterious new male lead, and recurring Malos-themed purple imagery, with pieces riffing on the trailer's hollow-planet curvature. The trailer also teases an Ether Jet vehicle and fully voiced Heart to Heart conversations, and the announced soundtrack lists Yasunori Mitsuda alongside Mariam Abounnasr, Manami Kiyota, and choral group ANUNA.

i hope the hollow earth setting of xenoblade genesis means there's a part in the story where some big shit is going on elsewhere and the party looks up in the sky and they can see a big explosion on the opposite side of the sphere. something like that

Yasunori Mitsuda is the lead composer of Xenoblade Genesis. Mariam Abounnasr (Xenoblade 2/3) & Manami Kiyota (Xenoblade 1/2/3) are also on the team with ANUNA doing choral vocals. The soundtrack is going to be as ridiculously good as all the other games.

In the last 2 weeks we saw: Dragon Quest XII, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, Kingdom Hearts 4, Persona 6, Persona 4R, Deltarune Chapter 5, Fable, Xenoblade Genesis and Resident Evil Code Veronica. That’s a lot of big big video game.
