honestly idc what the consensus was about the nintendo direct because i enjoyed it. fire emblem, xenoblade, final fantasy resonance, dragon quest pokemon, the splatoon game all look fun and have convinced me to finally get a switch 2. on top of KH4 and that JJK game, it all looks fun

i was kind of into that hd2d final fantasy game since i just beat the dragon quest 3 remake and adored it but then i lost interest so quick when they summoned cloud strife like come oooooon

Highlights for me: Pokopia free update and DLC packs is rad. It’ll make me go back, for sure. Dragon Quest Monsters and Final Fantasy Resonance (although the FF title kinda gives “gacha”) look fun. I’m super charmed by One Piece: Grand Gourmet.

E3 Sesaon 2026 is where we got updates or announcements of Final Fantasy VII Remake 3, Dragon Quest XII, Kingdom Hearts IV, and even Persona 6.

Here's my most anticipated games updated now that we've done all the game showcases. These are the games that I am most interested in atm. Xenoblade Genesis looks good but I don't and likely won't ever own a Switch 2.
