Cleveland Cavaliers guard James Harden was arrested early Saturday in Houston and charged with misdemeanor unlawful carrying of a weapon. Police observed a handgun in the seat of a car owned by Harden, and Harris County booked him before releasing him on bond from Harris County Jail. The Cavaliers said they are aware of the arrest, are in contact with Harden and his representation, and will monitor developments. Harden is due in court June 22 for arraignment, a next step that could affect his availability for upcoming Cavaliers games.
