A sedge warbler perches sideways on a thick green stem, bathed in warm golden light. Its buff-brown plumage, pale underparts and distinctive creamy eyebrow stripe are sharply defined as it stretches its pointed bill upwards towards a cluster of seed heads overhead. A white-tailed eagle (sea eagle) flying down to the sea at speed with its legs and talons outstretched as it dives in the hunt for fish. To quote BBC Country File: A white tailed eagle weighs as much as house cat, has a wingspan the size of an average door and can hit 100 miles per hour when hunting! They truly are magnificent birds!
