Erling Haaland scored an 86th-minute winner as Norway beat Côte d'Ivoire 2-1 to reach the World Cup last 16. Amad Diallo had pulled Ivory Coast level with a 74th-minute goal before Haaland's match-deciding tap-in. The game took place at Dallas Stadium and Antonio Nusa was named FIFA Man of the Match for Norway. With the win Norway advance to face Brazil in New York on July 5 for a place in the quarter-finals. Several reports note Haaland's strike extended a prolific international run, making him the fastest player to 60 international goals in 53 games.
