Loud clash in House hearing over Renee Good and Alex Pretti

newsJun 30, 2026221,016

Rep. Jamie Raskin and Rep. Mike Lawler erupted into a screaming match during a House Judiciary hearing on Capitol Hill Tuesday as they argued over immigration and the killings of Renée Good and Alex Pretti. Raskin pressed Lawler to condemn the deaths, saying federal agents shot Good and Pretti, while Lawler focused on family members killed by undocumented immigrants and sought to introduce a witness. The clash grew loud enough for witnesses to report shouting and for one lawmaker to shout "Get the hell out of here!" as the exchange escalated. The confrontation interrupted the committee proceeding and drew sharp denunciations from advocates who say Good and Pretti have not been held accountable.

Corrupt Mike Lawler walked into that committee room to introduce a witness and decided that was his moment to drag Renée Good and Alex Pretti’s names through the mud instead. Jamie Raskin wasn’t having it and I’m so here for it. Thank you @raskin.house.gov for always getting in good trouble.
