Bird of the Day, theme 'Quackers'

Today’s Bird of the Day is themed Quackers, any duck; the alternate theme is Swans. Gallery entries show field and garden bird photography focused on ducks and swans, with subjects ranging from single drakes and ducklings to family groups and dramatic encounters. Notable posts include a Tufted Duck, female Mallard, Eurasian Teal and Gadwall photographed at WWT London Wetlands; a Mottled Duck from Bonita Springs dated 5-5-26; and a trumpeter swan glowing at dawn alongside mute swan flyovers and wood ducklings learning to dive.
