Bird of the Day, theme 'Orange'

Bird of the Day is a daily community event; today Rob set the theme Orange with an alternate theme Reflections. Participants are sharing bird photos that feature orange tones or mirrored water reflections, often captured at sunrise or in warm light. Standout entries include a female Stonechat basking in bright sunlight, a juvenile American white pelican silhouetted against a sunrise with a clear reflection, and a closeup of an Allen's Hummingbird showing orange plumage. Other concrete examples in the gallery are a great egret at sunrise, an eastern bluebird with a bright orange chest, and an Eurasian Eagle Owl noted for its piercing orange eyes.
