FIA document Doc 54 lists Car 55, Carlos Sainz, as having changed power unit elements at the Belgian Grand Prix and being handed a 10-place grid penalty. Race-day reports say Sainz used a fourth Control Electronics Unit beyond the allocated three, triggering the standard 10-place drop. The penalty joins other late component changes that have already altered the Spa starting order, with Lando Norris also reported to have taken a new control electronics unit. The sanction will be applied to the qualifying result and reshuffle where Sainz starts for Sunday’s 44-lap Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.
