A24 released the first trailer and poster for Misty Green, the new film written and directed by Chris Rock. Rosalind Eleazar stars as Misty Green, a once-promising actress whose career has stalled and who fights for a second act after reconnecting with someone from her past. The cast also includes Chris Rock, Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya, Anna Kendrick, Topher Grace, Kelli Garner, Rich Sommer, Amy Landecker, Anthony Anderson, and Tracie Thoms. The film is described as a razor-sharp satire of bigotry and hustle at the heart of Hollywood. Misty Green is Rock’s fourth feature as director and is produced by David Worthen Brooks, Peter Rice, and Chris Rock. The film will have its world premiere in the Gala Presentations section at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival in September, and A24 plans to open it in October 2026.
