Final Fantasy XIV announces FF7 'Beyond the Lifestream' raid series
Presenting a FINAL FANTASY XIV x FINAL FANTASY VII Remake crossover: Beyond the Lifestream—the Evercold raid series!
ffxiv players when the omega raids are just ff5 and ff6 bosses but they don't know because they don't touch any other final fantasy games
Excited for this. Screw the haters. I loved the ffvii remake. That said it may have made me cry a bit too much. I’m not complaining about that, I’m just a little embarrassed…
Well, at least I know i won't have to do this raid series. Im so sick of FF7 being shoved into everything you guys can find a place for it and was actually hoping for something neat like Arcadion.
final fantasy 14 "players" when the game that always had his content influenced by other FF games beyond the level of influence has content referencing another ff game: 😱
Honestly, super disappointed in this. I was hoping we'd get something that was unique and built up the world a bit more like Arcadion or Pandaemonium... not a crossover with a disappointing sequel to Final Fantasy VII, to go alongside the second crossover.
Return to Ivalice still reigns completely supreme over all the other Alliance raids. Vana'diel wasn't as good but it made me play FF11 again so there's that. This raid will be fine y'all.
Cada vez que Square-Enix anuncia un crossover con Final Fantasy VII:
raid tier that's just all jenova
I'm never getting a Chrono Trigger raid series am I
Neat! Gonna be interesting to see how they pull this off
Why not Stranger of Paradise or FF15?
There’s been so many cool expansions on the lifestream—how it works, the entities connected to it, etc—and that’s just up to the end of Rebirth. Incredibly fertile ground for some very cool raids.
I still cant believe it. I cant wait.
Huge hype. I wonder how they will get the art direction right with ff14 graphics engine.
This sucks and you have to be really obtuse to not see why this fucking sucks
One-winged angel intensifies?? 👀 Omg I can’t wait to see how this goes 😍😍
What's the theme of the new 8-player raid? "Beyond the Lifestream" Final Fantasy VII Remake
finally a practical use for my master’s degree
im sorry ff7 was my first ff yes i know ff7 is "overrated" idc i'm so fucking excited for this because ff7 is so dear to my heart and now my very first oc since i was a young girl will have the biggest chance to shine
If you laugh you go to hell
I'm mildly frustrated both the alliance raid and normal raid series are now crossover IPs instead of relatively original FF14 lore We were doing so well with Arcadion, what happened?
i don’t need a subscription for the hit MMORPG final fantasy 14
FINE. But only if it is like the Ivalice crossover where it BUILDS ON THE UNIVERSE OF THE GAME, or else I'm gonna start blasting
I’ve been wondering what type of emergency would cause them to break this particular glass
finally... we can sit through sephiroths attack which last almost as long as idyllic dream youtu.be/2CCI-UZtEi4?...
if this lets you fight sephiroth I'm going to explode. being an ff8 fan sucks. we got shafted so hard and every other ff villain is literally in this stupid fucking game to fight. instead we got a booby tree. cool. and they said draw and junction 🫡 waow so cool
This is literally just to get Sephiroth into FFXIV and make an ultimate around him later on. I’m disappointed because I like original stories more than collaborations in FFXIV, but also because generally the raid gear is going to look boring as hell. Cloth soldiers? Turk Suits? Oh boy, so new.
I'm annoyed at both raid series being crossovers but I am already even more tired of the reactions to that
i've got a new reaction: should have been a skyrim crossover
brother you got a whole feast in front of you stop focusing on the guy picking over his carrots
I instantly chose that there was way more horrible stuff needing my energy and anger than this.
I'm minorly annoyed that they both happened to end up in this expansion but I feel like ff7 has been inevitable even before the remake project and it's too big to not be a raid, so I'm glad they're getting it out of the way now and not like further after all the remake stuff has wrapped
I did think of why they replaced both raids with crossovers and i think i figured it out: they didnt want to make interesting characters that would be limited to 8/24 man content and then be like "oh we really want to use them in msq actually but we dont want to force people to play extra content"
As long as the fights are fun and the glams are good, I'll be good.
they've homaged nearly every other fucking final fantasy game in the various raid series they did, OF COURSE they where going to eventually do something with FF7, and doing it now, when the FF7 remakes are being released, makes sense.
i promise you if they had just called it beyond the lifestream and said nothing else these people wouldn't know what to get mad at, these people don't even know how much of 14s most important and/or best content is straight up ripped out of other ff games
Yeah, honestly I'm surprised it took this long for VII to get its turn.
Werlyt is FF7 even lmao
