Blue Sky Art Show, theme 'Big'

The Blue Sky Art Show is a weekly community gallery working from the theme #Big, inviting images that emphasize scale and grandeur. Today's submissions lean into huge skies and oversized nature: wide panoramas and nightscapes of the Milky Way over the North Florida coast, a "Big Sky Country" shot from Glacier National Park, and towering trees like a giant cedar dwarfing a couple and a big old chestnut at Petworth, West Sussex. Alongside landscapes, contributors pair the #Big theme with Bird of the Day prompts focused on birds looking skyward, producing shots of a tawny owlet, a rainbow bee-eater, and a great blue heron gazing up. A fluffy juvenile European robin stands upright in short green grass, its rounded body covered in mottled brown plumage before the familiar adult red breast develops.
