Bird of the Day, theme 'Warblers'

Bird of the Day is a daily community event; today's theme is #Warblers with an alternate theme of #Ducklings. Participants are sharing photos and observations of many warbler species and a handful of duckling shots. Look for close encounters and song poses such as a Common whitethroat making eye contact, a Sedge Warbler and a Black-and-White Warbler from migration, and backyard scenes like a Magnolia Warbler at a shallow pond. Duckling entries include a reflecting Mallard duckling, a Gadwall fledgling, and a Common Merganser carrying three ducklings on her back.
