Dude fuck those fake Resident Evil fans, that movie slapped! Genuinely one of the most fun horror movies I've seen recently that was ALSO high effort. Shame "the community" ran off the people behind this movie cus its more authentic to RE than even the old live action ones.

one of my fave things in resident evil movie was the dude being told "this delivery is going to raccoon city" and instead of making a dumb like "DWUHH WHAT'S THAT?" or like "WHAT A DUMB NAME FOR A CITY" joke, protag dude is just like "ughhhh that's so far awayyyy"

just got out of Resident Evil. great time. verifiable proof that gamers have no idea what "good adaptation" means, because it's 100% Resident Evil both tonally and structurally. in fact i'd say it captures the experience of playing through its namesake more than any video game movie ever has

Might surprise and shock, but I didn't really like resident evil! Just too goofy without being funny. And it's not because it didn't adapt resident evil. It did, actually, that could be the structure of a resident evil game. In some ways, great adaptation but I dunno
