Blue Sky Art Show, theme 'Walls'

The Blue Sky Art Show is a weekly community event and today's theme is Walls, inviting photographic and visual submissions under the hashtag #Walls. The gallery runs the gamut from landscape and classic mono work to street photography, murals, sculpture, and nature studies, with many black-and-white film posts and minimalist compositions. Concrete examples include dry stone walls discovered in northern England from digitised film archives, the remains of the Roman city wall at Caerleon in Wales, and the bluestone environmental sculpture Opus 40 rising out of an abandoned quarry. Look for seaside saltmarsh grass outlining a coastal woodland, a Cotswold stone wall with a distant bicycle reflected in water, and urban walls such as Fan Tan Alley in Victoria and a Berlin Wall photograph, all shared under #BlueSkyArtShow and #Walls.
