Neil Bush says he voted for Democrat James Talarico in Texas Senate race
Neil Bush, the brother of former President George W. Bush, says he voted for James Talarico in Texas.
Barbara Bush, George Bush’s daughter is doing the same.
AS GOES MARVIN SO GOES THE STATE P.S. Neil was the savings and loan guy
But just like his dad and his grandad, he didn’t say shit about Trump or Paxton or anybody. These fucking cowards don’t use their power and influence for good, when it can make a difference. Now, what does he want, all of us to applaud and tell him he’s a great guy??
Also, Neil Bush exists, which was news to me.
I bet W did or will, too, but he doesn’t have the stomach to say it publicly.
Remember when we had presidents who didn’t assign kindergarten-level nicknames to everyone they don’t like?
In Texas, Talarico is going to get crossover votes from old school conservatives. Not just because of his faith but because Paxton burned a lot of bridges behind close doors.
This is the one who bankrupted Silverado Savings and Loan during the S&L crisis for those of you who are youthful.
Someone check with Billy Carter, Roger Clinton, Malik Obama, Liz Trump, Frank Stallone and Neil Connery!
That should tell you all you need to know. 🌊
Finally, a Bush makes a correct choice.
That’s kinda wild imo. Says a lot about Paxton.
Two members of the Bush family, whose political launchpad is Texas, have backed Democrat James Talarico in the race for US Senate. Barbara Bush, daughter of George W. Bush, has reportedly donated to Talarico's campaign, & her uncle Neil Bush, says he backs the Democrat. #USDemocracy #Voices4Victory
Too bad W has no spine.
The most courageous Bush out there!
The Bushes, despite their faults, are decent people. Remember, GHWB created PEPFAR to fight aids in Africa because he believed pro life meant pro life, not just pro birth.
I hope this is an example to all Texas Republicans about how to do things right Not far-right
Neil Bush, brother of George W. Bush and Jeb Bush, has broken his longstanding silence on politics to back Democrat James Talarico over Ken Paxton. @timmiller.bsky.social reacts: "Hopefully there are going to be a lot of Neil Bushes out there over the next two weeks."

It's about damn time that family spoke out!
Might be a lot of Neils, but not a lot of Bushes. The rest of them seem unable to understand their party no longer exists.
I get your point Bulwark , but up until yesterday I didn’t even know there was a Neil Bush. I’d rather hear it come from George. George can’t possibly be sitting at home and thinking he should be respectful of the presidency. I can’t fathom how he’s willing to sit this one out.
