Others took a literal initial, for example a Common Buzzard in flight over Shropshire, while reedland intimacy appeared in a bearded reedling at RSPB Leighton Moss. The theme asked for any bird starting with B, C, or D; the alternate White appeared as a swan at Frensham Pond.
