Bill Nye slams proposed Trump NASA cuts as 'illogical'

Bill Nye publicly denounced President Trump’s proposed NASA budget cuts as surprising, illogical and very troubling. Nye said the plan would terminate 53 NASA science missions and squander more than $13 billion in prior taxpayer investment. He warned the cuts would halt development of nearly every future NASA science mission and insult astronauts and the NASA workforce, noting the recent successful Artemis II crew return.
