First Hunt for Gollum teaser shown at CinemaCon

At CinemaCon the studio showed a teaser clip of Gollum speaking alone in a dark cave and confirmed the film will open in theaters on December 17, 2027. The teaser included Gollum's line 'This is a tale that must never be told'. CinemaCon also announced Jamie Dornan will play Aragorn in The Hunt for Gollum. Lee Pace will return as Thranduil, pairing a returning franchise actor with the new Aragorn casting.
