At CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Steven Spielberg screened an extended, over five-minute trailer for Disclosure Day and showed the first on-screen look at the film's extraterrestrials. Colman Domingo introduced Spielberg onstage, and Spielberg told the audience the movie "needs a seatbelt" while saying the studio will keep the entire third act out of marketing. Universal is set to release Disclosure Day in theaters June 12, marking Spielberg's return to big summer blockbusters after a decade of smaller personal dramas, and he used the presentation to urge Hollywood to invest in original stories.
