Bandai Namco and developer Dimps officially announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, revealing its prior codename Dragon Ball New Game Project AGE 1000 and setting a 2027 release window. The studio confirmed the game will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam. The announcement follows roughly a ten-year gap since Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, a much longer interval than between Xenoverse 1 and 2. Bandai Namco released a full-length trailer and said Xenoverse 2's final downloadable content, Future Saga Chapter 4, will arrive in Summer 2026 ahead of the new entry.
