Scammer used AI‑generated 'MAGA Girl' persona to grift men, Wired finds

Wired reported that a medical student created an AI-generated persona called "MAGA Girl" and sold photos and videos to men, earning thousands of dollars. He used generative image and video tools to fabricate a young conservative woman and produced manipulated selfies showing her with Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The student charged men for private content and messaging and described his customers as "super dumb" men he could easily grift. The case shows how realistic fake influencer personas can be monetized for fraud, creating new enforcement challenges for platforms and payment systems.
