Virginia Judge Voids Redistricting Referendum Results

Tazewell County Judge Jack Hurley, a Republican, voided all votes from Tuesday's special election that approved Virginia's redistricting constitutional amendment. Attorney General Jay Jones, a Democrat, said his office will immediately file an appeal to the Virginia Court of Appeals and declared, "Virginia voters have spoken, and an activist judge should not have the power over the People's vote." Former President Donald Trump called the results "rigged."
