Texas Tech bans student theses and most classes from covering LGBTQ+ topics

The Texas Tech University System has barred degree-culminating student research that centers on sexual orientation and gender identity, banning theses and dissertations on LGBTQ+ topics. The policy also restricts most core and lower-level courses across the system from covering LGBTQ+ content, and the rules will roll into effect on a phased schedule.
