East Coast Kin photography tag highlights global landscapes
The East Coast Kin tag is gathering landscape, wildlife and travel photography from Yosemite National Park to Mt Yasur in Vanuatu and Clava Cairns in the Scottish Highlands. Featured images include bird shots of Great Egret, Snowy Egret, Great Blue Heron and Glossy Ibis alongside a late-ray photograph of Mt Yasur’s ash plains as the volcano booms. Contributors often note gear and context, for example a Yosemite image shot with a Fujifilm X-T3 and Fujinon 18-55mm lens or a caption linking Clava Cairns to Outlander-inspired history. The tag functions as a fast global tour of natural and cultural landscapes, useful for travel planning, birdwatching reference and photography inspiration.
A sweet memory from the summer of '59 on a sunny summer day in the garden with my best friend Ritva. 🩷 #ThrowbackThursday #HumansOfBluesky #friends #colorized #EastCoastKin
Should I shouldn't I? Oh I can't help myself 😅 Your beautiful photo has me thinking about my very earliest memories. Mine comes from about 1960. I remember those slippers my mother had me in and what an understanding cat. Is it really possible to remember from two or three years of age?
What a great photo to still have!
"The summer of '59" Thank you for sharing this lovely image of friendship between 2 vibrant young gals. Wondering: What were they up to? Is Ritva still a pal? ❤️
Iris #scape A variety of irises from my neighborhood walk. 💜 I hope everyone has some beauty in their day. #ECK #PurpleFriday #AlphabetChallenge #WeekPForPurple
Good Friday morning, Laurie!🌞☕️💙☮️ This morning's deer crew scavenging the neighborhood. Have a fantastic day and a fabulous weekend!
It’s a lovely thought Laurie but I’m aware that as I sit comfortably in my garden surrounded by birdsong and burgeoning flowers of many colours that there are millions out there who have nothing and are being starved, made homeless and left orphaned. Hard for them to find beauty in such a world.
Gorgeous colors! Have a lovely day and weekend, Laurie!
