Reform UK challenges Labour in May local battlegrounds

Reform UK is mounting a serious challenge to Labour in May council elections in red wall towns such as Barnsley, Sunderland and Wakefield as local voters express growing frustration with Labour. Reform UK candidate Mike Collier lost an employment tribunal after sacking a care worker WHO raised safety concerns including theft, illegal drug use and poor hygiene. The party’s "Contract with the People" proposes using £1.7 billion for tax relief on private healthcare and a voucher scheme to redirect NHS funds to private providers, a platform that could shift local control of services and put Labour’s northern footing under strain.

Since March 18th, the Reform UK leader hasn’t voted in a single parliamentary division. In that time, there have been more than 50 votes in the House of Commons. If you’re elected to represent people, turning up and voting is the bare minimum… and right now, Nigel Farage isn’t doing that?

Reform MPs usually work for others rather than their constituents, such as Gold bullion dealers, and Reform voters mostly haven't worked for 10 years or so. Reform UK offers nothing for the average working person In Britain.
