Jets trade up, draft Cade Klubnik at No. 110

The New York Jets traded up to the 10th pick of the fourth round, No. 110 overall, on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft to select Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik. Klubnik joins the Jets as a late-round, developmental quarterback the team can evaluate in training camp and in low-leverage regular-season action. The pick gives New York a low-cost upside option while preserving flexibility to pursue an immediate starter in future roster moves.

For many years I've had the thought "Cade Klubnik seems really talented, I don't understand why he isn't better." And if there's a team with a history of unlocking the hidden potential of QBs with that profile, it's the New York Jets.

Cade Klubnik is a great lottery ticket for the Jets and the kind of pick they SHOULD be making in the fourth round. Has tons of traits you can try to coach up, you can play him late in the season to evaluate him, and you’ll KNOW how aggressive you need to be to go get a quarterback. I dig it.

I like Cade Klubnik pick for Jets. He’s probably nothing, but this was the smart way to handle QB this year. Wait until Day 3, take someone with a little bit of upside, give him a couple starts just to see what you’ve got and then take someone in R1 next year.
