The Chicago Bears selected Texas cornerback Malik Muhammad with the 124th overall pick in the fourth round of the NFL Draft. Chicago traded up five spots in Round 4 to take Muhammad, a tall, slim defender known for zone coverage and lateral agility WHO posted a 9.51 RAS that ranks 153rd among 3,075 cornerbacks from 1987 to 2026. Bears national scout John Syty called Muhammad’s outing vs Ohio State "one of his best games" while evaluators note he does not always play up to his timed speed.
