The Boston Red Sox routed the Baltimore Orioles 17-1, with Garrett Crochet pitching six shutout innings to anchor the win. Boston produced 10 runs on 10 hits in the ninth inning, including three home runs, and Andruw Monasterio finished the rally with his first career grand slam. Ceddanne Rafaela tripled and Caleb Durbin and Willson Contreras added homers as part of the blowout. The 17-run game is Boston's 25th such outing since 2000, the most 17-plus run games by any MLB team in that span.
