Scouts ranked him unevenly across boards, with Dane Brugler placing him 83rd, Matt Miller 95th and Field Yates 119th, and Fran Duffy comparing Elliott to TJ Edwards. The Bears expect Elliott's gap-filling quickness and downhill instincts to add athleticism and depth to the middle linebacker room and help replace Tremaine Edmunds.
