20,000 teddy bears displayed on Washington Mall to spotlight Ukrainian children

On April 24, 2026, Razom for Ukraine and the American Coalition for Ukraine arranged 20,000 teddy bears in a 70 meter installation on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Organizers said each bear represented a Ukrainian child whom they say Russia abducted and they demanded those children be returned.
