On April 24, 2026, Razom for Ukraine and the American Coalition for Ukraine arranged 20,000 teddy bears in a 70 meter installation on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Organizers said each bear represented a Ukrainian child whom they say Russia abducted and they demanded those children be returned. The installation stood in the center of the Mall to pressure U.S. and international policymakers and to spotlight child abductions tied to the war.
